BIM Champions – Your company needs you!

The National Federation of Builders (NFB) has launched a nationwide CPD-certified Building Information Modelling (BIM) Champion Programme with the aim of empowering and equipping individuals across industry to successfully drive their organisations through to becoming BIM-ready.

Increasingly, companies are working towards becoming BIM-ready in advance of the BIM 2016 deadline. To do this, many find it useful to appoint a BIM champion to drive the change required.

NFB chief executive, Richard Beresford, commented on the programme, saying: “A building information modelling champion is positioned to lead an organisation in the successful implementation of BIM. Through the creation of a BIM strategy, BIM champions are equipped with the required knowledge and skills to drive change throughout their organisation, aligning processes and systems in a collaborative environment. This allows for easier production and sharing of information.”
